The Sapphire Community Web Portal will open today at 4PM. Parents and learners can log into their account and view their homeroom teacher and schedule at that time.

Hello WASD Community! We have been growing vegetables in our courtyard, also known as Summitview Farm. We will put some vegetables (right now we have eggplant, peppers, and lettuce) on a table in front of our building today. If you would like some we are asking for any donations to help continue with our farm project. Thank you for your support.

Hello SV Families! We hope you are having a great summer. We want to create an organized volunteer program for the 24-25 school year with our parents (and grandparents). If you would be interested in learning more about this program please email Mr. Pappas at steve_pappas@wasdpa.org
Thanks!

Kindergarten First Day of School Information

We are starting to see some progress!!!

We would like to thank our staff, our students , and other community volunteers for helping us continue with our Summitview Farm. We are growing eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, apples, and pumpkins. We are also raising some chickens, who will soon be producing eggs. We hope this project helps our students understand the importance of agriculture and hopefully it will connect our school more with the community.

WE ARE GOING TO MISS MRS. SHEA!!! 35 YEARS...THANK YOU AND ENJOY YOUR RETIREMENT!!!!!

We would like to thank everyone who came to Grandparents' Day today. We also would like to thank those who put everything together to make the event possible. We appreciate everyone's patience, as this was our first event like this. Also, we appreciate everyone's understanding when we were dismissing students. We need to make sure that we keep our students' safety a main priority.
Thanks again for coming and enjoy the weekend!!

Tomorrow is Grandparents' Day!!! Grandparents, please consider bringing a folding chair or blanket to sit on when you are outside with your grandchildren. We will begin checking grandparents in around 1:40 PM. Please remember to bring a valid ID with your picture on it.

Hello SV families! If you are signed up for Grandparents' Day, and you have more than one grandchild at our school, you will be spending time with all of them. You do not have to select which one you want to spend time with. They will all be together with you. We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday.

Hello, Summitview families! This is just a reminder that if you are chaperoning a field trip and you choose to take your child home after we return to the school, we require written documentation of that request. We prefer that we get that at the beginning of the day. Thank you for your help with this.

Grandparents' Day is coming! This is just a reminder that this day is for grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, or "fill-in" grandparents (for those who have grandparents who live far away). This is not a parent event. Thank you for understanding.

Today is Student Council's bright colors day so we encourage everyone to wear their bright colors to school today.

The PTO will be selling these to our students tomorrow. They will be $1 each.

We have our last Parent Forum of the year tonight at 6:30. This is a time where you can come to hear about our school and to bring up any concerns or ask any questions to the principal. Please enter the building at the main entrance.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We would like to thank our teachers for their dedication to our students and for the work they do each day at Summitview. We would also like to thank our PTO for providing lunch today for our staff.

Today is BLUE day and the last day for our Math PSSA.
