Hello, SV Families! Tomorrow, 9/11/25, our day ends at 12:50 PM. Families picking up their children at school should be here by 12:45 PM.

We are in our third year of maintaining Summitview Farm. Mr. Lego's classes have been doing a great job keeping things going. If you are on our volunteer list and would like to help maintain or help build our farm project, please let Mr. Pappas know. We only grew eggplant and peppers this year. We still have our chickens!

Remember to wear your favorite summer T-shirt tomorrow.

Tomorrow (Friday, 9/5/25) is Summer Celebration Day! Students can wear their favorite summer T-shirt tomorrow!

This Friday!!!!

Mr. Lego's classes are helping out at SV Farms today!

An important message from the Transportation Department:
We wanted to let you know that your learner's bus or van information is being updated daily in the parent portal. Due to changes in our bus routing software, there were unanticipated issues with some of our existing bus stops and pickup/dropoff times.
Please note that when we update the bus routing software, it will update in the parent portal overnight and be available to view in the morning.
If you've already contacted the transportation department due to concerns with bus stops, pickup and dropoff times, or bus numbers, the transportation department will call you back to update or correct those details.
Thank you for your patience.

Kindergarten First Day of School Information!

WASD Upcoming Events!

We have a few York Revolution tickets left. If any SV family is interested, please let us know via email. E-mail Mr. Pappas at steve_pappas@wasdpa.org.

Our Back to School Night for Kindergarten is on 8/12 at 6:30 PM and for Grades 1-5 on 8/14 at 6:30 PM. The events go until 8 PM; families can come anytime between 6:30 PM and 8 PM.

Hello SV Families! We have some extra York Revolution tickets, but the number is very limited. We want to offer them to any student who was in K-5 at Summitview this past school year. Once they are gone, we will not be able to get any more. Our office staff will be available today and tomorrow until about 4 PM (the office will be closed around lunchtime as well). If you cannot make it to the office during those times, please email Mr. Pappas requesting tickets. Thank you, and we hope your families are enjoying the summer.

This is just a reminder to fifth graders who attended the York Revolution baseball game this spring. We have two extra tickets per student who went to that game. If you would like to pick them up at school tomorrow between eight and three, you can. If those times do not work please email Mr. Pappas at steve_pappas@wasdpa.org.
After Wednesday, we will be opening up these tickets to the entire school so if you cannot make it tomorrow, please email Mr. Pappas and he can arrange another time for you to get the tickets.

Hello SV Families!!
If your 5th-grade child attended the York Revolution game (which was canceled), they are entitled to 2 free tickets to be used during the 2025 season. On June 9 and 10, we will be at the school from 8 AM to 3 PM, if you would like to pick up the 2 free tickets. Again, these tickets are only for the student who went to the game with the school. If you have any questions, please email Steve Pappas at steve_pappas@wasdpa.org
Thank you!

Today is the last day of school. Your children did an excellent job this year. Enjoy the summer!!

We would like to thank Red Run Grill, MASA, Applebee's, and Cafe Del Sol for their recent support of our school!!!

Our yard sale is tomorrow. It begins at 8 AM and it will be in the front driveway of our school. We hope you can come out and support our families and our school.

Tomorrow is beach day. We told our students to dress like they're going to the beach, but they are not to wear swimsuits. Thank you!
