Hello SV Families This week we will be having our Race for Education Day (w/ Kona Ice), make-up pictures, and Domino's Pizza Night all on Thursday. Next week we will be starting our Project Team Spirit Days (Oct 18-29). Please see the image to find out more about our spirit days.

Hello SV Families If you use the Remind app for any classes at our school, you may receive messages from a Summitview Elementary in Yakima, WA. Mr. Pappas has been in contact with them and they are trying to get this situation cleared up. They just started using the app this year and they are still trying to get things in order. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Bus 58 will be bus 20 this evening. Bus 58 broke down before it was able to get to SV this afternoon. The students riding this bus will be a few minutes later than usual. We apologize for any inconvenience. Have a good evening.

Hello SV Families If your fifth-grade child is going to Camp Eder tomorrow please have them at SV by 7:30 AM. They will be back at SV at 7:15 PM. Please remind your child to bring at least an extra pair of socks and shoes. If your child is not going to Camp Eder, they will need to report to school at the normal time and they will have assignments ready for them to complete throughout the day.  This message was sent to all fifth-grade families' emails this evening. A message from Food Services-Please note: Menus are subject to change based on availability of products. Due to shortages in production staff to produce products and truck driver shortages to deliver products, we are experiencing many menu shortages and changes. Hello Summitview Families  Here are a few reminders about upcoming events: 1. PTO meeting tonight at 6:30 in the cafeteria. Please enter through the door by the smiley face. Kids are always welcome to attend. 2. Race for Education kick-off packets and labels were sent home last week. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Simply fill out labels with your family and friends’ addresses and we will do the rest of the work. Our goal this year is $15,000 to help pay for field trip transportation costs, student rewards, teacher incentives, and more. All addresses are kept private. Submit labels for a chance to win a one-year family membership at the YMCA! 3. Picture Day is Thursday,  September 9th. 4. Dominos Pizza Night is Thursday, September 9th. Order dinner and help Summitview earn 15% on all orders by giving the order form to the delivery driver or at meal pick-up. Forms will be sent home Wednesday.
