On Thursday, October 8th, we welcomed Jeff from the Byrnes Health Education Center! Jeff presented "Emotions Explorers" at our Waynesboro Family Learning Center. In this program, learners explored emotions in a simple and age-appropriate way through storytelling. They were guided through the process of how to name, describe, and express emotions in positive ways. During the session, children learned how to identify their emotions, as well as techniques to use when they are feeling overwhelmed. This program was made possible through the generosity of TFEC.
We had a wide range of learners, from ages one through seven. The program was engaging and informative, and so much fun!
