At the board meeting on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, the school board approved a resolution seeking cyber/charter school funding reform. Cyber/Charter funding comes from the school district. The cyber/charter funding model is inequitable and antiquated. Created in 2002, this model has not been updated since. This funding model is currently costing WASD over 3 million dollars a year.
