The following WASD students recently won awards for the 2022-23 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition, which is the longest running and most prestigious creativity recognition program in the nation. Students who are recognized with Gold Keys are entered into the National Competition. Those winners are yet to be determined.
The students and their awards are as follows:
Isaac Pappas - Honorable Mention in Novel Writing
Zoe Bowersox - Silver Key in Poetry, Honorable Mention in Flash Fiction and Honorable Mention in Photography
Chloe Shacreaw - Gold Key in Short Story, Honorable Mention in Critical Essay and Honorable Mention in Film and Animation
