Lainey Peyton hdped Waynesboro finish the regular season on a high note despite missing the cut for the District 3 playoffs, and brought home some recognition for her big end-of-year performance.

Peyton earned the final regular season PennLive girls soccer player of the week fan vote title after recording a hat trick in a 7-4 win over Palmyra fast week.

 

Peyton took in 14,444 votes, good for 57.68 percent of the tally. She edged out Biishop McDevitt's Delaney Babish, who earned 8705 votes (34.76 percent).

Rounding out the top five were Camp Hill's .Sophia Shaw (1235 votes), Susquehanna Township's Fiona Brown (433 votes) and Central Dauphin's Kayden Williams (104 votes).
