FCCTC students, Here is the information you need for the transition from semester 1 to semester 2. *Semester 1 students' last day at CT will be 1/15 so you can be at WASHS for the start of the 2nd semester on 1/16. (This is if you go to FCCTC in the fall) *Semester 2 students' will have off school from both WASHS and CT on 1/16 and your first day at CT will be 1/21. (This is if you go to FCCTC in the spring)

We recently had our college application day and here are some facts from the event: -150 seniors participated -113 seniors worked on college applications -53 seniors were accepted to college on-the-spot -39 seniors met with college reps about their applications and how to improve them -24 students worked on their resumes -13 seniors met with recruiters from the National Guard and the Air Force -A total of $2,735 in application fees was waived for our students!
Reminder: FCCTC students do have school tomorrow 10.11.19, but are off on 10.14.19. Tomorrow's transportation is WASHS to FCCTC in the morning and then back to WASHS in the afternoon.

The first day of school is on Wednesday, August 21. We will be having an extended HR (26 minutes) and a shortened 1st period. 9th graders will be attending a grade level meeting after HR. Sr. Privilege students are encouraged to attend the entire day on August 21.
Students should be coming to WASHS prepared to learn and willing to work hard. Students need to make sure they have all proper school supplies when coming to WASHS. These supplies include, but are not limited to: Pencils Pens Notebooks Paper Folders Binders Highlighters
WASHS Back to School Night will be on Thursday, August 29 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM! This will be an opportunity for all to follow their children's daily schedule and meet their teachers.
WASHS New Families/New Student Tour will be on Tuesday, August 13 from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. This event is open to students new to WASHS and their families. The event will begin in the WASHS auditorium.
